Pro-Yard Hydro electronic ballasts are significantly more efficient than traditional magnetic ballasts and run cooler for longer life. Lamps ignite quicker and achieve maximum output within 1-2 minutes Max. Voltage output is more stable, thus facilitating flicker free light. Versatility is achieved by dual input voltage capability of 120V & 240V, a choice of 400W, 600W & 1000W outputs as well as automatic conversion between HPS and MH lamps by micro-chip programming. Pro-Yard Hydro electronic ballasts typically yield 30% more lumens than magnetic ballasts because there is less of a power loss thanks to a higher frequency output.
