The wide spectrum of the bulbs allows either the 3100K or 4200K to be used from the vegetative phase straight through to flowering, or for maximum growth and yield begin with the 4200K bulb for vegetative and then switch to 3100K for the flowering phase. The lower wattage of our 315W CMH bulb versus the standard 600W HID bulb translates to less heat being expelled from the bulb and the ability to place the grow fixture closer to the canopy, increasing light intensity and canopy penetration. This double glass jacketed lamp features a bi-pin PGZ18 lamp base and is rated for either open or enclosed fixture use.
