- Features : "HG coffee maker descaler lactic acid formula has been developed specifically for removing scale from different types of espresso and pod-coffee machines. HG coffee maker descaler lactic acid formula is milder than regular citric-acid descaler but with a better descaling effect. It is safer; odour-free and fully biodegradable. With regular use of this descaler the coffee continues to taste good; the machine retains its speed; and you extend the life of your espresso or pod-coffee machine! >> Directions for use: Pour 125 ml of HG coffee maker descaler lactic acid formula in the water reservoir and fill it up to 750 ml with water (6x diluted). If the water reservoir is smaller than 750 ml; pour 100 ml in the water reservoir and fill it up to 600 ml with water (6x diluted) Leave this solution to work tor 10 minutes. Then turm the machine on and let half of the liquid run through. Switch the machine off; leave the product to work for 10 minutes; and then let the rest of the liquid run through until the reservoir is completely empty. Rinse the water reservoir thoroughly; then fill with clean tap water and run the machine through 3 brew cycles in order to remove any last limescale residue or aftertaste. If not all limescale was removed; repeat the treatment. When cleaning a coffee pod machine; you can place a used coffee pod in the holder to catch any limescale residue. This prevents any blockages in the outflow. For descaling normal coffee makers; electric kettles and washing machines; we recommend HG descaler for appliances. For cleaning the internal system and the pipes of fully automatic coffee machines; we recommend HG coffee machine cleaning tablets. Use: 125 or 100ml per descaling treatment; depending on the volume of the water reservoir of the espresso or pod-coffee machine. 1 bottle is sufficient for 4 or 5 treatments Lactic acid is a milder formula than citric acid although just as effective and is therefore safe for use in all machines."
